CRABBING
Waterman’s Way Experience
Start your day like a real Chesapeake waterman—bright and early on the Bay. You’ll run a traditional trotline, catch your own crabs, and cruise to an operating seafood processor to see firsthand how the day’s catch is landed, sorted, and prepared for market. The experience will include a behind the scenes tour of the oldest crab plant in the world, located right in Dorchester County, MD- The J.M. Clayton Seafood Company
Clients will also be able to eat their crabs back on the Lois Ann and cruise as they enjoy an authentic, behind-the-scenes experience you won’t find anywhere else.
Catch & Carry
Experience the Chesapeake Bay the authentic way. Work a classic trotline, watch the crabs come up one by one, and savor the excitement of catching your own feast. At the end of the trip, you’ll head home with the crabs you harvested.
With any crabbing charter, arrangements can be made to enjoy your catch onboard with prior notice.
*Waterman’s Way and Catch & Carry experiences are guaranteed 1 bushel of crabs-supplied by J.M. Claytons whether you catch them or not.
SEA DUCK HUNT
